Requirments:- 

• •    Search best suppliers with best pricing and best delivery terms that meets the Ship Chandling business increasing demand
  •    Create purchase orders for current and forecasted demand
  •    Follow-up with vendors to ensure purchase orders have correct price, and delivery date
  •    Coordinate QA inspection of purchased parts and services as required
  •    Ensure the quality of purchased parts and look to source new vendors
  •    Coordinate with vendors in the event of an issue with quality
  •    Follow-up with vendors on back-orders and notify operations
  •    Communicate with vendors when purchase orders are due to be received to ensure they are on track
  •    Review vendor invoices with errors and coordinate a quick resolution
  •    Ongoing demand forecasting
  •    Build and maintain supply redundancy
  •    Work with operation team to source new vendors, parts, and materials
  •    Maintain a supplier evaluation system and coordinate with vendors to help improve their performance
  •    Work with the sales team to provide vendors forecasting information
  •    Vendor negotiations
  •    Preparation of management reports as well as analyzing statistical data
  •    Perform other job-related duties as assigned
